These are some studies inspired by Armand Serrano. I really enjoy the color choices he makes and how he's able to keep things really saturated at the same time not losing a lot of value. I like the doodles I came up with here, but with each one, I realize how much more I need to learn about composing with light and color. The shapes and compositions with enviorments i'm confident about, but with the edition of light and color, that is only half the battle now.

I really like the shapes you've created and nice colors, Martin.

Best luck in Baltimore!

What up Martin! How's the east coast?
These landscapes have a calm yet mysterious feel to them. I did some color studies too, check out my blog and let me know what you think :D

Nice studies Martin! Ya I've also noticed that if your end result is going to be color, it helps to incorporate color studies into your initial thumbnails, because color may change your compositional decisions.
